Corrections to ERRATA in Crosswordese: A Guide to the Weird and Wonderful Language of Crossword Puzzles

In a small measure to ATONE for the fact that my steaks were mad mistakes were made, I’ll use this space to try to [Square things] and [Right wrongs] by pointing out the errata in the book and correcting it here.

(If you find errors in the book not listed here, please contact me about it.)

*Some readers have asked why ENO is not included, pointing out that his full name is Brian Peter George St. Jean le Baptiste de la Salle Eno. True, that would put him at about 7%, but he’s excluded because he goes by “Brian Eno,” not just “Eno” (as opposed to, say, Sia Kate Isobelle Furler, who goes by SIA.)
