A distinguished panel of crossword editors and constructors will discuss the history and language of crossword puzzles, plus how crosswords and other word games are built, edited, and solved. Audience Q&A and book signing to follow.
Featuring Helene Hovanec (puzzle constructor for King Features Syndicate), Natan Last (crossword constructor for The New York Times and The New Yorker), Wyna Liu (a puzzle editor at The New York Times—where she edits crosswords and writes the daily Connections puzzle—and assistant editor at American Values Club Crosswords), and Mike Shenk (crossword editor for The Wall Street Journal). Moderated by David Bukszpan.
In advance of the event, P&T Knitwear will present a “Museum of Crossword Answers,” an in-store gallery installation on display November 24—December 1.
